What would be recommended for a new enlisted permanent resident to choose from? Looking for options. Have a bachelor degree in business administration. Wanting to join 35 but has restriction for citizen only. Thanks

Are you not wanting to become a citizen or are you concerned about getting your citizenship?

CPT (Join to see) I'm a fast learner. I enjoy learning new things and skills. As long as it's not like program coding that I know I'm not good at or engineering stuff. Other than those I'm open to learn anything

SGT (Join to see) - once you attain citizenship, you might consider working for a defense contractor as a CAT-3 linguist. Excellent money, and its essentially tranlating/transcribing from Chinese to English (depending on the nature of the contract). Without all the Army hassle.

Probably supply. The real question is- what does your ASVAB qualify you for, what do they have open to you, and what interests you? Talk to the recruiter and get it all sorted out.

My ASVAB score is good. As what my recruiter said I can pretty much choose whatever and I will be qualified for it. I'll be going to MEPS tomorrow for physical and stuff. He said we will decide what's available and what I'll be interested in there

SGT (Join to see) Well good luck to you! Honestly, make a list of anything that they offer you that piques your interest and look into it before committing to a job. What the paper they show you says that job does and what actually happens are likely two VERY different stories. Sometimes they will tell you something and its not a lie intentionally, the recruiter really just doesn't know from experience about the job. Get on here and ask people who've done it. Again, good luck and thanks for what you're doing!
