My primary would be RASP. All good things begin in Ranger Regiment. If we're talking about a school that isn't a selection program, then the primary is always Ranger School to bring the leadership back to the unit. My ideal list if I had the opportunity to do it all over in succession:<br />Airborne-RASP-Ranger-Probably pick up Pathfinder somewhere in the mix-Jump Master-Advanced Land Nav- Then schools don't matter like they used to... as a fallback to this plan not working... I actually walked in because I could not get scheduled. Now I have 5 streams of income and get paid 11 times a month. <br /><br />My point is, military schools are fun and some are good for your military career. Most do nothing for your life after the military. Don't get me wrong, I would do them all over again. But ultimately, I suggest you consider the lifestyle you want after the military. It connects us to the past and future of those who "pushed the limits". Instructors are all of these: E7+, Former DIs, Former Recruiters, AND Former Embassy Detachment unit members and Commanders.<br /><br />And remember this is potentially a duty where not all of your personnel above you in your chain of command even have your back. He had to go through USMC recruit training, then MCT, then ITB to become an infantry Marine. He told all of us that ITB was way tougher than Ranger school.
