I think education is a dead issue. For 50 yrs the gov has had a monopoly on education and look at the results. I'd put the number 1 platform objectives to be one thing: Freedom

Restoring our adherence to the Constitution, would work to get Government out of peoples lives.
Provide only what services are specifically listed in the Constitution as what the Federal Government could provide and do. All else left to States.
Strengthen the US Military and cut out any aid to any country that could not with actual reason be called a Friend.
