But, i wanted to know what daily duties would be for 88m in FT. Irwin.
Also, FT. Irwin is not a rapid deployment unit but do they have small units that you can volunteer to deploy with? What would daily duties be like for an 88M at Ft. Irwin? Does Ft. Irwin have any small units with which you can volunteer to deploy? 2018-01-27T15:04:57-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3298499

I am originally from San Bernardino County, so I am aware of the surrounding. You’ll be busy every month when units go out in “the Box” for rotations. If you go to 11th ACR you will have your schedule planned out 3 years in advance. All the units at Ft. Erwin support on going exercises and chances are you will be crossed trained as a fueler' at least every time my units went to Ft. Erwin that was the main complaint that I heard. I was in one of the units that opened up Ft. Erwin for the first time since WWII. Co C 124th Maint. All around a terrible place to be stationed. I was out there for 3 weeks for annual training and the entire time was miserable. As far as duties out there as an 88m most of the time those stationed out there really didn’t have a whole lot to do unless it was during times when other units/ battalions were not out there to train Response by PFC Josh Asakevich made Apr 5 at 2018 8:15 PM 2018-04-05T20:15:58-04:00 2018-04-05T20:15:58-04:00 2018-01-27T15:04:57-05:00
