They can tell you what class seats are available. More than likely you will get the Needs of the army rather than want you want but it depends on your rank but also the needs of the army. They can help you with the DD 368 (Conditional Release) and coordinate with your unit and higher HQ to bless off on it. Keep in mind that once the 368 is approved, you will have anywhere between 3 to 6 months to switch to Regular Army. The army doesn’t like paying to train you for something different when they’ve already spent over $60k to train you to do the first job you picked.
