USAA treated me will, no return from deployment with them. Biggest issues getter used to normal life again.

United Services Automobile Association (USAA): I would have liked and appreciated any help at all; during my transition. I was very, very afraid of being homeless-again-after I was honorably discharged. I coach groups on Facebook; and I have helped my group members- with their transition. Things that are of the utmost importance, when one is transitioning from military life to civilian life: Phone Number: of the Veterans' Crisis Line, in case the transitioning military member is suicidal, in an emotional crisis, or just wants to talk.
Phone Number: of the military veterans'/retirees' local VA.
Phone Number: of the Veterans' Administration.
Phone Number: of the military members' local financial institution.
And, the phone numbersof the local rent board, Place to go for food stamps, etc.
And the list goes on and on.

Educating myself in reference to state taxes. I think the state of Kansas is not supposed to tax my retirement income and SSDI.
