SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3655619 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m prior service at fort Sam reclassing to 68C(lpn) and today at the defac a phase 4 IET soldier cut the line (which was full of prior service guys) to put his tray in the dirty tray area. Someone told him that he needs to go to the back of the line. So he throws his tray down and turns away and as he turns away he tells the prior service guy to STFU. So the guy didn’t hear it but I did and I was so shocked that I didn’t even say anything. Keep in mind prior service isn’t really supposed to interact with the IET soldiers and their Drills were not present. What would you have said or done? What would you have done if an IET soldier was disrespectful to you in the DFac? 2018-05-23T20:11:08-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3655619 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m prior service at fort Sam reclassing to 68C(lpn) and today at the defac a phase 4 IET soldier cut the line (which was full of prior service guys) to put his tray in the dirty tray area. If no interaction is allowed, getting in a beef or worse would have been a bad foot to start off on with your new tour. If a Drill Sgt was around, letting them handle it would have been best. We were never anywhere in training without Drill Instructors around. One stayed in our Barracks at night. I give that kid a pat on the back because he has balls and everyone who just got basically run over by the new guy obviously didn&#39;t have the sack to confront him. Maybe next time you can be men and soldiers and stand up to the new guys... Side note: sounds like a lot of crying going on. Your prior service status really doesn&#39;t matter unless you are empowered by the cadre. I liken it to a CSM who goes to Ranger School. In your status, you can only offer advice, if they don&#39;t listen, then move on. As such, the only thing you could have done and not get fried yourself was to inform a Cadre that should have been rolling in the DFAC as well. If not, again, your hands were tied, and nothing you can do except report it to the nearest Cadre with the name and the actions of the Soldier. I feel your pain. I really do. When I went to JBSA for ALC Phase 2 and 3, this was the rule given to us: No interaction with IETs regardless if they are in the wrong.
