There are a lot of programs out there that handle one aspect of the issue or another. Programs for prosthetics, therapy, adventure programs, education, counseling, etc.
If you could create a project for WW and PTSD, with a "one stop shop", what are the things you would like to see made available at that location?
Ideas include, but are not limited to, job retraining, Physical therapy, counseling, chaplain services, education services (what type?), work programs (type), housing, etc...
The sky is the limit, but should be part of a scalable program. What do you see as an essential part of the program?

Anything moving forward is a start. This is an issue that we unfortunately have to - one-step-at-a-time - make slow progress. Keeping it in the conversation is half the battle.

Great idea for sure. Would you see this along the same lines as the Fisher House where there are a bunch throughout the states? If it was only in one location, hundreds of Veterans and Service Members would have a hard time going to it. Follow up care would be difficult too.

Eventually, yes. Unfortunately the pilot program would be limited to one or two locations. Follow up care would be dependent upon the person after leaving the facility. I envision an in house program to get them back up on their feet and assisting with transition into a career/job.

That's how I would see it going down too and there is nothing wrong with that. A pilot program always starts small. You have to confirm the program will work before rolling it out nation wide plus you need to get the funding. All in all, its a great idea that could help a lot of people.
