1978-1979 Camp Stanton, Korea; 1991-1994 Buedingen, Germany (We did re-flag to 1-1 Cav at sometime in that period).

4-7 reflagged to 5-17 in Korea, 1988. Then in 1996, 5-17 reflagged back to 4-7. 2015 4-7 was deactivated in Korea. :-(

That was one sad day, when 4/7 was deactivated. I cried. Still have my stetson and spurs in a prominent place in my Man Cave. People just wouldn't understand. Shaped (warped) me for the rest of my career. Don't regret a minute. GARRY OWEN, dammit!
