Seriously??? If he's a true vet then he should know better than to ask something like that on an open forum. SMH!!!

I would have asked him for what police force then contacted them for clarification. Regardless of the answer, I'd turn him in.

SGT Pelfey, right on. The MRAP is in LIW. All the manuals that pertain to it are on there (-10, -20, TBs, etc). WEDLIDB is a great tool to figure out what manuals you need for the unit. I've got a massive one for my entire Squadron.

I honestly wish that ETM's had more of the specialty ones. In my own line of work; I have to utilize PM FBCB2 unless all i want is the OLD BFT operators manual. Then there are the contracted items....

SGT P, the FBCB2 is also in there. There's five total: 2 TMs, 2 TBs, and an SB.

Does this Veteran who asked not know of this thing called "Google"? It's a great online tool that allows you to search for answers to just about anything. ;-)

By the way, for the heck of it, I did a search for "MRAP Manual", the first result was this:

http://publicintelligence.net/ufouo-u-s-army-mine-resistant-ambush-protected-mrap-vehicles-handbook/

I even found a link for MRAPs for sale...just saying.

I agree that you needed to decline handing over any thing that might be considered sensitive but in this day in age is anything really classified anymore?

I had to look up MRAP, being from a different era! If a police dept needs info of military nature, there are official channels to request such info. Vet should understand FOUO or classified documents are not for public dissemination, even to a police dept.
