Whats a good duty station for a 92G?

From your experience which duty station is good for 92g? And by that i mean good leadership, one actually care about soldiers, a good dfac thats kind chill to work in , and good environment for family? Whats best possible duty station i could request? Was thinking about fort carson and fort knox?

I’m not RA I’m NG so my experience of active bases is limited, but from the experience I do have and moving around when my step dad was in I did notice ft Rucker in Alabama always had a great chow hall. Everything operated smoothly and everyone was always respectful. I’ve had cool friends stationed at ft Lewis as well and they loved it there. I would not personally recommend ft Stewart.

Ft. Carson was my first duty station back in 2002 and it was incredible! I recently went back and toured around the base to show my kids where I had worked, but it looked like they were getting ready to tear down my old DFAC. I was on the team that won the Philip A. Connelly Award for Large DFAC that year. It was great to get to train with NCO's that took pride in their work and were willing to pass along the things they had learned. We were only one of the DFACs on post (I believe there were 4), and we would frequently go directly from working the morning shift to the motor pool to work, often times still in our cook whites, which really sucked. But that was also a different time, back when the war was just starting, so things may different now. As far as raising a family in CO, you can't beat it! There is always something going on around Colorado Springs, Denver is only an hour away, and the natural beauty and activities the outdoors provide is fantastic! My dad, an artillery officer, requested Carson for his entire career and never got it, then I got to go there right after AIT.

I am from Boise, Idaho, but I'd probably say fort Knox.

If you don't mind the cold. Fort Drum is a good duty station to go or maybe HAAF ( Hunter Army Airfield)
