I was treated like every recruit, but was told not to train them in anything so they can learn on their own. Three phases. Expect the first three weeks to have little sleep and get smoked a lot. Got to AIT and was treated differently than the other trainees due to being a MOS-T. Take this as a learning experience and soak it up. Go in there with an open mind, as you once did in the Air Force and enjoy it. Remember it's all a game, its a learning experience. Any past mistakes you did when you first went to basic, can be redeemed during Army BCT. Stand out, but don't be cocky. Be the guide, or the leader and mentor as best you can - because later down in your career, those can be the tiny little things that sets you apart from others when maybe you are at a promotion board and neck to neck with someone else. So just do well, shoot well, PT well. Majority of the people you will go in with, perhaps may end up in your Unit, so it's good to bond. Just enjoy the experience bro. Good luck!
