For me yes, if it's an enemy combatant, firing or blowing up US troops, it immediately becomes a "battle zone"

We already have a "war on terrorism " declared. Now, I admit, there are a lot of other deciding factors that decide how and where a "war" can be fought. We as a nation are reluctant to admit that the terrorists have come to us.
