I am a life member of the DAV. I joined within months of my return home from Vietnam. Over the years the DAV has helped me in a variety of ways. The best thing about the DAV is that are available to help ALL disabled veterans.

In contrast, the Wounded Warrior Project represents less than twenty percent of the "wounded warriors" alive today. I greatly appreciate the help and care they provide to their eligible membership, but I object to their 'branding.'
