When can I expect to get my promotion orders if my DOR is first of month? I recently made the list for SSG?

I’ve gotten mine the day of my ceremony. I’m certain that if you didn’t want a ceremony that you’d just get them. I was sent a formal one from my BN (I’m in recruiting) then they showed up in my PERMS. Either way, your DOR will be the first of the month like the list says.

*Supposed* to be before the 1st but I've seen it take as long as the 7-8th of the month depending on weekends/training schedule. Brigade S1 cuts the orders sends them to Battalion S1, S1 puts them in the distro out box to your respective company, 1SG / Training room picks them up. So if you're worried about receiving them in time work that process in reverse order up the chain.

Should be on the 1st of the month when you get promoted. However, what’s important is for the pay to reflect on your LES regardless of orders!
