It&#39;s just information.<br /><br />So having a map is information. Even putting enemy locations down is just information. However when you start to convert those locations into &quot;types&quot; of units that becomes Intelligence. Because that is Analyzing the Data you have.<br /><br />100 men, with specific gear, wearing specific uniforms, becomes a specific Unit.<br /><br />----------<br /><br />On the open source side. Same thing.<br /><br />Take available information, and provide analysis to create Intelligence.
