I am currently on recruiting duty in Orlando and will be going through training in a little less than a year for my new MOS. I am wondering on my training route once that time comes. I’ve heard mixed answers regarding this. How is the decision made and who makes the decision on whether or not I’ll do my training enroute or not? Thanks! TDY and Return is only authorized when the unit pays for it and there is a valid MTOE or TDA slot at the unit.
