When I re-enlist into the Army (after 4 years in USMC and 4 years in IRR), will I need to go to Army Basic?

I'm enlisting into the Army soon and I was in the Marines for four years, but I've been out for 3 years 11 months now but I Just finished my IRR in may this year. Will I need to go back to Army Basic?

No, you will not need to go to Army BCT. I have been out of the marine corps and finished IRR in 2016. I am also starting the process with the Army as well. I will not be attending BCT and will skip that step. You will need to go to an Advanced Individual Training, or (mos school) if you are switching jobs.

They won't accept you in two basic. I was out for several years and when I came back in I asked if I could go to basic lol. At different times they have run a transition course for other services, but it was mostly to familiarize you with army customs and courtesies.

Nope. What gave you that idea? After a fun filled day at meps, once you sign that contract your an Army specialist. Hopefully you went to Cpls course, they might accept that in place of wlc, you’ll already be ahead of the game.

36 months after completion of your initial military service obligation is what gets you sent back through basic (for Army and Marine PS). If you’re under that (which you personally are) you are good to go!
