When I took the photo my question was: Why family want to see nice horizon and go between historical buildings there? What they really want?

I seem that people don't want to see old things but what is more inspiring, constructive for them like the Hill on the horizon even when is not perfect. In the building are colored nice conservative lamps but without changes many years. I have understanding for beauty inside and outside - both. Because inside is all more static, art is from architects who are like stones. Everyone can go inside and out and can tell what is better and why. I cannot give you better shot of horizont with rock hill now, maybe in next time interval if will more and higher rock hills there.
(Is many people who tell me, we cannot see the hill again, we will inside rather without risk of changes. without thought only with criticism and repeating of mistakes are still on ground.)

What camera did you use for the hill photo? It is reminiscent of the older medium formats like 6x6.

I feel as the photographer you decided what to present to the audience. Change the light and bring the building walls and lights as the focus leave the horizon as a distorted background.

yes the tower can be dark and bad or like golden good way, but what is true picture and is on the horizont strong pint or in the building or towers? it s riddle. People like colored things and true how you can give them in one.

Vit Spirek - tricky shot set up for the shadow save it and move to the center and try a few shots that way. See what comes up. (the next time unless you still in the area)

Your post reminds me of a conversation I had with an old friend and classmate from USMA, West Point Vit Spirek. He took his German wife and sons to West Point in 1999 which was 19 years after we graduated. His wife was unimpressed that the campus and buildings were only 200m years old since so many buildings and towns in Germany are over 900 years old.
The Czech Republic is as old as Germany so I expect that you might concur with my friend's wife :-)
In any event thank you for posting the picture and your discussion.
