Yes, SFC George Smith "where at a high enough altitude you pass the boundary between the exosphere and the vacuum of space.

Just after sunrise, just before sunset, the rays of the sun coming to you are going through more air which absorbs more and more of the blue, turning the skies pink to red in color (hence the term "sky-blue pink"). When the sun has set the sky is transparent as there is not enough light to give the blue effect.
