You’re really just moving from one suck to the next. If you like and get along with the people in your current unit, I feel that’s as much as you can hope for in the Guard. <br /><br />Not to mention the ESO position is never really managed well in units on the Guard side because it’s so rare, no body knows what the fuck to do with it. I’ve heard it’s true on the active duty side as well. <br /><br />If you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes, try split training with the unit you are considering transferring to in order to determine if you’d be doing anything different. <br /><br />Even a deployed ESO doesn’t do a whole lot of ESO stuff because there isn’t a ton to do, honestly. I&#39;d say you&#39;re already at that point. I had hit that point as well...which is why I had to branch out to see other opportunities.
