When it comes to LORs can I use previous assignments, accomplishments, and awards i.e. being a drill sergeant?

My current CO has been with the unit since July of 2020. Since Covid-19, my unit hasn't done a whole lot of training. I have been with the unit since June 2019. I went active in 2019. Prior to that i was in the Army Reserves.

Apperciate it. Thank you
LORs are shaped to support the intended roll. Whomever writes them can use anything they like in the narrative supporting who you are and how you would fulfill the intended roll.
So I actually just finalized and clicked send on my packet today.
For my 3 LoRs they all talked about my current position and doings, as well as the past. How they tied those in were along the lines of "based upon reviewing prior NCOERs he has shown professionalism etc and thus endorse WOCs.
Now to be fair, I just submitted it, so I am unsure of the outcome for a couple of months ha.

I have a buddy thats about to graduate from flight school. He told me that while having your LORs reflect what you have currently done in the the unit helps boost, it doesnt hurt to put padt experiences, accomplishments, awards, etc in a LOR because its all experience that turned you into the proficient leader you are today.
