People that have worked in the private industry and had to hire and fire to meet the goals of the company/corporation goals. Along with a modicum of knowledge of business and why they should hire a Veteran. If the hiring staff has military experience, that helps, if not more needs to be done to understand the ins and outs of business.

You are absolutely correct it's typically non military or military that did not have to go through the hiring process on the civilianside

I agree they should allow individuals that have transitioned come in to share best practices do's and don't when making the transition common things that servicemen are dropping the ball. In addition there should be a way to track servicemen within 6months receive follow on email to know what's working not working

I would like to see a Getting in the Right Mindset or tapping into your personal growth class or session or at the very least publish a top 10 books to read during your transition about having the proper mentality.
