When should I be eligible for promotion to SPC, given that I have 2 years AD, but was recently demoted to PV2 due to a FG article 15?

Hello all.
Late January of this year I was demoted from PFC to PV2 due to a field grade article 15. I have since carried out the given punishment. My question is since I have now been active duty for 2 years (February), when should I expect to be eligible for promotion to SPC? Currently I am still at E2. I have asked my PSG several times, he hasn't given me an answer. Thanks in advance.
If its a matter of TIG, what can I do to receive a waiver?

It is a matter of time in grade for both PFC and SPC.
You are eligible for automatic advancement to PFC after 4 months time in grade since your last reduction, assuming that you are not currently flagged and otherwise administratively eligible.
Once you are advanced to PFC, you would be eligible for SPC after 6 months time in grade as PFC.
Currently the limit for waivers to SPC is 25%. No doubt the top 25% in your BN do not have a field grade ART 15, so I imagine you are not competitive for that.

Accurate, I can confirm from experience sadly, you're gonna be waiting till you hit TIG to PFC again! and then TIG to SPC all over again. Trust me it sucks man. Don't give up on the waiver tho, you have to really impress your leadership from here on out if you wanna get back on track.

PFC (Join to see) - soldiers who have been reduced under article 15s are not eligible for waivers. He's going to have to serve out the full TIG for E2 and E3.

Stay resilient and your time will come again. The most important thing it that you learned from the past and can now perform as a standard bearer in the United States Army. If this is the case, and you want to make up for a set back you had with the FG Article 15, I would say to start taking correspondence courses for your MOS, study skill level 1 and 2 tasks and take some online college classes. Get your EIB and or Soldier Expert Badge. Stay motivated and look at the positive things about your career.

Since you got demoted due to Article 15, you are no longer allowed to be given waivers for your advancements. As such, you will need to meet the full TIG requirements for advancement to PFC and SPC. And that clock started on the day your effective DOR to PV2 started.

For the purposes of determining non- promotable status, periods of forfeiture of pay will be determined as follows:
(a) Periods of forfeiture are to begin on the date that UCMJ, Article 15, punishment is imposed.
(b) For UCMJ, Article 15, forfeitures imposed by company grade CDRs, 7 calendar days is the period of forfeiture. For example, punishment is imposed on 28 March 2005. The Soldier is in a nonpromotable status from 28 March through 3 April and regains promotion eligibility on 4 April.
(c) For UCMJ, Article 15, forfeitures of 1 month by field grade CDRs, 15 calendar days is the period of forfeiture.
