Now, if you’re out on the 1st or later then you’re probably required to pay that months rent. The only exception would be if there was a prorated month clause in the lease, but most standard leases do not have any prorated clauses in them. You have given the realtor/landlord ample time in order for them to list the property. In this case, you are not responsible to pay rent when you have legally provided the proper notification, military clause or not.
