When using the GI Bill, will I get paid more than just BAH if my tuition is fairly cheap?

No, you'll get MHA (BAH) for the zipcode where the school is located.

I am fairly confident in saying they will not increase your BAH due to the good value of the academics.

Nope. There's a lot that goes into the bill, but BAH isn't prorated based on the cost of tuition.

U will get paid am the bah of where you are at plus your classes will be all paid for and you will get a book stipen for your books that you can pocket most of it if you find your books for cheap

I honestly wish it worked that way! The BAH is based off the location of the school. So other than that, you also get your book stipend. I asked the same question to my VA school rep.

Go on google and search for VA post 911 GO bill PPT. There's a VA PowerPoint on there that breaks everything down. BAH is based on school location/ E5 no dependents.

Zip code based. Dependent based. And how many credit hours your are taking. Also are you online or taking classes in a classroom. All of these factor into it.

Also bear in mind that if you exercise your GI Bill while on Active Duty, you will not get BAH as that is the current circumstance with my wife using mine. Also, if you are on Active Duty, you should exercise your Tuition Assistance benefits and only use your GI Bill if you plan on attaining education beyond a Masters degree. Either way, best of luck moving forward.

Nobody ever gets paid more than BAH (plus books). Tuition money goes directly to the school, so regardless of what tuition is, it won't affect you personally (unless it's above what the GI Bill pays).

Nope! It would be nice. It is based on your location but you should get BAH for a E5 even if you are not that rank yet.

Nope. You get $125 for books, your BAH, and your school paid for.
