The entire time you are in reception battalion you will most likely wear PTs.<br /><br />This was my experience at Fort Jackson and it may not be the same at other basic training sites. Depending on when you arrive and when your Basic Training Company picks up will dictate how long you are there for. I know you are excited for getting the uniform (HOOAH!) but take it day by day and get everything out of the training that will be provided to you!
