When will I receive an Army uniform at basic?

You will first go thru medical, supply etc, at reception, that is when you will get your uniforms, once you have cleared all of that good stuff, the drill sgt's will pick you up and you will start your actual basic. Let the good times roll.

When you go to reception you get issued everything you need for basic training

You will reveive your uniform during reception and you won't really wear it until you are ready to go to your basic training unit. The entire time you are in reception battalion you will most likely wear PTs.

This was my experience at Fort Jackson and it may not be the same at other basic training sites. Good luck, though! Any other questions about Basic Training just ask!

They will be mailed to you. Stand by the box and wait for them..... Just kidding. Like everyone else said, you will get them at the Reception center.

Usually the first night that you are there they will issue you all your clothing. Pts and ocps

You will get your uniforms at in-processing. Got a lot of hair, You get your first military haircut there too. In 1967 they walked us in one side of the barber shop and out the other side. After haircut no one knew anyone.

You will get EVERYTHING that you NEED to successfully make it through BCT/AIT at Reception. Depending on when you arrive and when your Basic Training Company picks up will dictate how long you are there for. I know you are excited for getting the uniform (HOOAH!) but take it day by day and get everything out of the training that will be provided to you!

Should be on your 3rd day thru reception. But make sure u get boots that fit properly fight for it cause a size to small will mess your feet up and keep ur head up thru basic buddy don't quit the fastest way out is to graduate

Yes all uniforms will be provided to you, you will get 4 ocp pattern ACUs 3 summer Pts and 1 winter along with one set of cold weather gear and about half way through you'll be issued your dress or ASUs
