If you are leaving for basic, your wife is not authorized at any training location. You won’t be able to stay with her during any time while you’re at basic. Where are you heading when you ship the end of October? You will not receive BAH at AIT unless your school is at least 10 weeks long. I would wait until you complete basic and AIT to move your wife with you when you PCS to your first duty station. If your AIT is a certain length she can move to where you are and you can live in housing and not in the barracks. I would talk to the Drill Sergeants at your AIT before making plans since they will know what you can and can’t do there.
