When will the 17 series open?

I have recently found a lot of information regarding the 17 Series that the Army is looking to open but I am trying to find out if anyone knows when it will open for reclassification and enlistment.

Here is the info I have found for the requirements:

•Recruiting Strategies

–Balance both new and in service accessions as required to meet and maintain quality 17C force

–Recommend a special marketing and recruiting team travel to high schools, technical institutes, and colleges identified with excellent IT /Cyber Security programs

•Accession Requirements

–TS-SCI clearance; Pass CI polygraph

–Min 110 General Technician; 112 Skilled Technician

–Min 60 Information Communication Technology Literacy

–Never been a member of the U.S. Peace Corps (see AR 614-200 exceptions)

–No record of conviction by court-martial or civil court for any offense other than minor traffic violations

–Reclassification candidates will take and pass the 17C In-Service Screening Test for enrollment into the MOS producing course

•PME

–AIT: 37 weeks (est. 15 week transition course for 35Q, 25B, 25D reclassified Soldiers)

–ALC: 7 weeks

–SLC: 10 weeks

•Retention Strategies

–Education: TWI and other educational programs

–Monetary: as required (e.g., SDAP, Retention Bonus, etc.)

–Special promotion board instructions if required

The Army has stepped up recruitment for its new Cyber Branch, the first branch to be formed since the Special Operations Branch nearly 30 years ago.

Hopefully they put out the information soon. I am waiting to see what it is before I turn in my 25D packet.

I had heard the requirements would be out in January with packets being accepted shortly after but cannot find where I got that.

Debating dropping a packet myself. Finishing up my BS in Computer Science so this will be a nice change from my job now.

Please PM me if you find anything on when to submit a packet and who
I submitted my packet to 25D on DEC 24 and have not received a response yet.
I am sure the Cadre at fort Gordon must be getting hit left and right 24/7.
My packet is very solid fully qualified for 25D and based on your post also for 17 series.
