i was out and about and i saw this NCO who had his uniform patches on wrong, so i corrected him (in a manner you should talk to an nco) and the kid thanked me, and said he was a 68c an lpn, and he said they all make sgt after graduation. and that blew me away that he was still making private mistakes and they just make them an NCO.

That is incorrect. I’m a current 68C and have been a SPC(P) for over a year now. You don’t just hand out SGT, you earn it.
