I took a job as a shipping clerk for an Aerospace manufacturer. From there I decided that I wanted to study geology and made the understanding of the earth and its processes my goal. For someone who has spent 10 years of their life doing combat arms, it might take a while for them to figure out what their new purpose will be. Literally everyone decides differently and with such a large cross-section of the country that makes up the military, it would be foolish to try to anticipate what these varied individuals find interesting.
