Where am I most likely to be stationed as an 88N? What is a typical day like (e.g. work hours and such)?

Enlisting as an 88N, I’m married with 3 kids. Can anyone tell me where I am most likely to be stationed? And what is a typical day like (I.e. work hours and such)???

SPC Private RallyPoint Member as an 88N that is MOsQ, you could be assigned just about anywhere. 88N are in each Division. You could use your CAC to access FMSweb and see where your MOS pops up. Overseas they are used to augment the JPPSO, I usually see Airmen doing the function CONUS.

Your OPTEMPO is going to vary widely Unit by unit, where you are at in the training cycle, deployments etc.

In a Sustainment Brigade we were habitually short 88Ns.

It will be based on availability in your field, as well as by your rank. In other words just about anywhere they have an opening so the chances are pretty big. With 88N, transportation is a huge aspect for the military so you could go anywhere they need you. As far as what a typical day would be like will depend on your duty assignment. When you enlisted did you not get a choice of assignments?
