This normally slows the speed of the round down, affecting range and accuracy. Agree it would work wonders in clearing houses, but they are lousy for long shots. Personally I think they would be a great addition to an individual soldier&#39;s firearm. The biggest hold up, I suspect, are from the bean counters who don&#39;t want to work the numbers to have an extra $1000 attached to a weapon when it is likely just going to gather dust.
