I was in Minnesota, where the winters were cold and long. It made things more difficult from October through May.The other 4 months were great.<br />Also, consider the demographics of the area. For instance, if you don&#39;t speak Spanish you may want to stay out of the southwest.<br />I always heard Dallas was the happy hunting ground, but that shifts over time. <br />Do some research and find out where the Station/Sub-station of the Year, Recruiter of the Year, etc., were for the last few years. If you want to be a recruiter in paradise, your best bet is to: go where they send you, kick ass, network, and then convert to 79R (only after some successful quid pro quo on duty assignment).
