And invest your money into a good stock or IRA. Like my momma always told me, "If you want something, you better get a job and earn it." I know many people, myself included, are trying to make sure Corporations stand by their commitment to hire Veterans. I recently retired and despite having two Masters-level degrees it hasn't been a cake walk. Most people see those degrees as a "license to learn."Response by SCPO Charles Thomas "Tom" Canterbury made Dec 24 at 2015 3:52 PM2015-12-24T15:52:46-05:002015-12-24T15:52:46-05:00SFC Russell Shaw1199599<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What is your dream and your passion? What are you doing to work towards those. There are a lot of businesses that are military friendly but you have to put in your homework and check them out if you know what you want to do and who or what you are going after be sure to go in prepared and looking sharp you will get noticed. Many times it is who you know also, ask others you know and network with people until you can get the introduction you need with the right people. When you put in the work before the interview you can sometimes start up a little higher in pay. Just remember when they start you at a higher pay grade that they expect to see results very quickly.Response by SFC Russell Shaw made Dec 27 at 2015 9:48 PM2015-12-27T21:48:43-05:002015-12-27T21:48:43-05:00Cpl Joseph Gibbons1199677<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is SO true!!!
