Apparently great minds (I'm actually a legend in my own) think alike.

My 1 bucket list item is to tour Europe following the Allied advance. I would put Normandy at the top of my list as well. This year would have been special as it is the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landings. I would love to try and go for the 75th anniversary. It is sad that we are losing our WWII veterans on a daily basis. My grandfather served in the Philippines during the war and passed away several years back.
