Apparently great minds (I'm actually a legend in my own) think alike. <br /><br />My 1 bucket list item is to tour Europe following the Allied advance. I recently watched a PBS special following the Easy Company 2/506 PIR vets stopping at some of their old battle sites and it was amazing to see how they remembered everything from almost 70 years ago.

This year would have been special as it is the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landings.  I would love to try and go for the 75th anniversary. It is sad that we are losing our WWII veterans on a daily basis.  My grandfather served in the Philippines during the war and passed away several years back.

I think I would love to be back in Netherlands at the Margraten American Cemetery, because the Dutch love and respect our veterans and fallen so much! It is an awesome place to be!

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>One place I would like to visit on Memorial Day would be the Chosin Reservoir. I wouldn't dare venture off into N. Korea to see it for reasons we all know why, given the situation. The Battle of Chosin Reservoir is one that I read a lot on and so many sacrificed their lives in the sub-zero temperatures and the Chinese Communist Forces.
