You will do the same training, for the most part, that the unit you are in does. So, for instance when I was in the 101st in an Infantry unit I trained with them and got my EIB (even though I wasn’t allowed to wear it, it is on my ERB), when I was at Ft. Rucker I was in an AIT unit and went to Cadre Support school, if you go to an AirBorne unit you will probably have to go to jump school, etc. It is one of the best & worst parts of being in Supply, Public Affairs & similar MOS’s: you get to go to all kinds of units, do all kinds of training & earn all kinds of badges. However, many of them you aren’t allowed to wear & soldiers in some jobs look down on you because YOU aren’t one of THEM (their mos), which is sad but true even in the 21st Century. Asl long as that unit is responsible for a hand receipt, property book, ordering supplies you can be assigned there. No saying that there are some unit's that may require you to have a security clearance first.
