<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thank you for the help everyone! I did reach out to the American Legion posts in both states and they said they will do what they can to help. I also contacted the DAV and they are working on a quote for me!PO3 Ashley PerryThu, 14 Mar 2024 14:45:44 -04002024-03-14T14:45:44-04:00Response by FN Michael Ries made Mar 20 at 2024 5:56 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Most moving companies provide people who will help with packing your house then the movers will lift everything else also tell them that your a disabled veteran when I moved out of my ex's house and bought my house all I did was sat back and watchedFN Michael RiesWed, 20 Mar 2024 17:56:22 -04002024-03-20T17:56:22-04:00Response by SGT Eddie Kirkland made Mar 20 at 2024 6:03 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Check with local Amvets, VFW or American Legions for a community liaison. I know our Amvets Riders love getting out helping other veterans. Even their Son's or Auxiliary may be able to help. Good luck!SGT Eddie KirklandWed, 20 Mar 2024 18:03:55 -04002024-03-20T18:03:55-04:00Response by PVT Steven Bornman made Mar 20 at 2024 8:43 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Heck, when I needed help none was available in Denver Colorado. Had to call moving companies for help at a cost of thousands of $$$. On a fixed income would have loved some volunteers to help a 100% rated veteran in a wheelchair to some point. But, it is a crap shoot if you find help or not just have $$$ either way.PVT Steven BornmanWed, 20 Mar 2024 20:43:51 -04002024-03-20T20:43:51-04:00Response by Gabriella Hollon-Meadows made Mar 20 at 2024 9:26 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Along with your local VSO's, reach out to your local Boys & Girls Clubs or Scout Troops. Years ago, I was lucky enough to get the High School Wrestling Team to help me move my apartment into a storage unit, before a cross-country move. You can also check to see if your city, county or state has a senoir agency that may know of other resources. Good Luck to you.Gabriella Hollon-MeadowsWed, 20 Mar 2024 21:26:40 -04002024-03-20T21:26:40-04:00Response by 1st Lt Teah Pelliccione made Mar 21 at 2024 11:36 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It might be worth contacting a local moving company and asking for a discount. Usually the smaller /local places can offer some deals, versus the corporate chains.1st Lt Teah PelliccioneThu, 21 Mar 2024 11:36:00 -04002024-03-21T11:36:00-04:00Response by SSG Mike Zientek made Mar 24 at 2024 8:26 PM
