Where can I find a list of vacant job openings, by AFSC, to see what locations are available? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/where-can-i-find-a-list-of-vacant-job-openings-by-afsc-to-see-what-locations-are-available <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Considering to go ANG to AD, is there anywhere (like maybe the AF Portal) that list vacant job openings by AFSC to see what locations are available? I am currently a 3E551, and would like to stay in this career field. I&#39;ve gotten some college done, but I&#39;m realizing that I feel that being active duty enlisted is where I belong. I would just like to explore my options as far as vacant positions go, if it is possible, and see where it goes. I do plan to meet with a recruiter next Tuesday if all else fails. I would like some insight from anyone that has a thought or recommendation on what I should do or which route to take in the next steps into going Active Duty. The only way I have found is to cross train into a Battlefield Airman career such as Combat Control/PJs. After I talked to a recruiter a while back, there is a very slim chance you could switch if there is a critic manning in your career field. Thanks to force reduction from previous administration, the Air Force really isn’t in the business of enlisting prior-service. A better option may be looking for an AGR position. Best of luck. Equal or Equal plus, unless they have changed the names. I&#39;m not up on the transfer from Guard to AD. Call a base in service recruiter. They should be able to point you in the right direction. They will try to match your current AFSC, but if that doesnt work out they&#39;ll look at the list of AFSCs that are on the &quot;chronically critical&quot; shortage list for retraining opportunities. 1stSgt Mack Housman Sat, 17 Mar 2018 00:01:01 -0400 2018-03-17T00:01:01-04:00 2018-03-15T07:57:12-04:00
