Where can I find information on becoming a Flight Medic?

I want to go flight medic it’s something I want to achieve while in the Army. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get on a good path to do so? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

It pretty much an option you would have to request during re-enlistment like I did. It’s just an identifier not an MOS. Your other option would being in a sister unit that had an opening but I know slots were few and far between so do so dealing come time to raise that hand again.

I would recommend you attend a good paramedic school and get jump qualified, and air assault school trained then work your way up the schools the army offer now a days.

Best way to do so, submit your 4187 for Flight medic. 4 of my close friends just got accepted to flight medic and they love. Two in the pipeline now two on their way in. It’s a rigorous course and is not to be taken lightly. If it’s something you really want to do, get with your first line and together the two of you should be able to get you on the right path.

Take a class III flight physical. Put in a 4187.
