That is because the green to blue programs are typically for occupations that exist on both sides.
Infantry is not an airforce roll, so green to blue may not be a possibility.
Best advice is talk to an AF recruiter.
I would imagine he will have to go through normal recruitment procedures though and change his job.

Best of luckResponse by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 23 at 2019 8:58 PM2019-11-23T20:58:36-05:002019-11-23T20:58:36-05:00MAJ Javier Rivera5269031

You need to contact an Army recruiter and inquire about it. These things change often and they have the latest and greatest. Just be advised of one thing: priority #1 is to keep you with the same MOS (Army’s equivalent). Although, there are always exceptions.Response by MAJ Javier Rivera made Nov 23 at 2019 11:07 PM2019-11-23T23:07:24-05:002019-11-23T23:07:24-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5269033

There is no more blue to green program. You have to ETS/EAS from your service component and enlist into the Army. You can work with an Army recruiter while you are on transition leaveResponse by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 23 at 2019 11:09 PM2019-11-23T23:09:11-05:002019-11-23T23:09:11-05:002019-11-23T17:53:33-05:00
