Where can I find social/meet up events for veterans in the San Antonio area?

What groups and organizations are active? Is there a website with events on it? Which ones are best?

Just looking to find veteran social groups and meet some new people. Any and all types of groups would be much appreciated!

Look for Team RWB or Team Rubicon. Both are veteran organizations that encourage vets and their families to get out and do things together. Here in Omaha, both organizations have things going on weekly from runs/walk/rucks to bingo with older Vets that can't get out to kickball games. They go to sporting events together, do mud runs and overall continue to bond as veterans. The groups are open to active, reserve, guard and veterans of all ages.

I was on San Antonio Meet Up for a time. I must admit I was not impressed with the "Meet Ups" advertised on the site and I never saw anything listed that was Veteran associated. I am no longer a member. If you find something on this topic, let me know SSG Carlos Madden.

Join one of the military organizations like the VFW, VVA, AL, AmVets, etc.....

One often neglected source of 'social groups' is volunteer organizations and also your neighborhood schools; both of which provide social interactions and will always give you that boost from what in 1968 was called a CAP = Civilian Action Program, in other words working as a volunteer in your community where-ever that happened to be.

That's too easy a question Carlos - and you almost answered it yourself!! Simply go to Meetup.com San Antonio. There are nearly 600 different groups and organizations started by folks with similar interests. There are military social, business, and networking groups - Have fun!

Depends on what you are looking for? why type of group/people things to do.
I'm sure you can do the following search..but I did it and pasted it here....there is a list of numerous organizations/groups...VFW is big here and they have get togethers and events...There are vets here who are in different business that get together and have fairs/booths/events put on by the VFW.... Depends on whether you are still active duty or retired...or just a VET...so many different things to do. Can you be more specific?
