On active duty...pretty much anywhere. Reserve or Guard....where ever there happens to be a slot

It depends at what echelon they serve at and what I mean by that is some locations may be more SigO heavy than others but 25As serve just about everywhere so use that info how you will. In the RC/Guard it is where they have slots. In the Guard they sit at the company, BN, and BDE levels. Some states have Div. Nice thing about the Guard is you can grab a secondary branch through CCC if your state doesn't have longevity for 25A careers. Your career is up to you and what you want to make of it.

I have been a signal officer for 18 years and have rarely found an installation without some signal officers around. As you make rank it gets harder to find potions, for example at Fort Bliss for post-KD majors there are only a few slots on post.

Honestly anywhere.
Always a need for an S-6. Many Combat Teams have a Brigade Signal Company assigned.
They also have ESBs and different compositions of Signal Units and Teams.

Anywhere. Look at the profile of any Signal officer in RallyPoint and you will see a variety of assignments. If you have someplace you really want to go, make sure you keep your dream sheet updated.

Where ever communication is required. They are everywhere these days. if its electronic, they are there. 1st ones in last ones out. They are the most important branch in the service.

Anywhere. Signal Officers aren't just in Signal units. I was in 50th Signal Battalion (3 different companies), an Engineer Battalion, Division Support Command, MANSCEN Headquarters, a basic training company, and the USAREC headquarters company. Just about any type of battalion or above unit has a S6 commo shop.
