Unfortunatly most of them were marked classified but I know they had unclassified ones available. Does anyone know how I can get one? Where can you get unclassified maps from Iraqi Freedom (OIF)? 2016-09-19T21:59:10-04:00 SSG Carlos Madden 1907386

We used to get any map we needed printed of our area of operations. It's not until we put "Analytical" data on them (Operational or Intelligence) that they become Classified.

It's been a while since I dealt with the issue and I was getting out when we started shifting to POD, but.... the issued ADRs/CADRs (CDs that have the maps on them) are unclassified, however, the master database is accessed through the SIPRnet (or was at the time). The CDs "could" be ordered through the NSN system, loaded into any computer with C2PC (or equiv like falconview) and printed.

I'd check with your S2 first and ask if they have an issued paper map, or would be willing to order one for you (we used to keep connex boxes full of them) or if they would be willing to ask the Intel BN (or Army equivalent) to get one for you. Worst case they "should" be able to get you the NSN numbers so you can order them yourself.
