When I jumped on as excess for my deployment I had to get approval through my BN CSM before the commander would sign off on transferring me to another unit.<br /><br />I recommend it, especially as a PFC. You&#39;ll get a lot of experience, make connections, and even get some chest candy if that&#39;s your thing.
