If so, I would contact the nearest VAMC and see about getting financial assistance for the required equipment. If not, they may be able to point you in the right direction; the local VFW may have some contacts for things like this. If the VFW can afford it, they may be able to pull from the emergency relief funds or petty cash to give some assistance. Many other VSOs will probably be able to assist in some manner as well. I do know this for a solid fact. I just qualified and have the ramps at the house, the life was put on about a week ago and I am waiting for the scooter now. I would check with the local VA in your area and have your PCP order one.
