I guess this will be a thread I really need to watch closely. Possibly folks more knowledgeable than I shall hop on here with some great info. I heard of it because I went through the County VA Office on more than one occasion and they have my Email and they sent me an Email invite. You have to take the initiative to reach out because the County VA doesn't always know your a Veteran. I registered with them the last time I was unemployed. Their employment programs suck for White Collar folks but it was cool meeting other Veterans for an occassional get together. A veteran was in charge.

There are veteran programs for business. Some have been posted here in the past. I suspect, we can look up past topics and search for the ones we want.

When I went to the SBA I was looking for wisdom. I did not want a loan. My business is regulated by the State and the Federal government. I wish I had performed more research on requirements before I purchased my ultrasound machine. Knowledge on what you want to do is key to avoiding mistakes/errors.

My GYSgt always referred to me as a stinking genius. I guess, that is why I did not read enough on the regulations. Being a stinking genius, I thought I knew everything on the issue.

Have a great day and best of luck on your desire to succeed in business.

Mark A.
