I re-classed to 91B but the Army refuses to acknowledge it. You can go anywhere as a 92F. I went to Airborne School and was in the 82nd at Ft. Bragg.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 3 at 2016 8:05 AM2016-02-03T08:05:08-05:002016-02-03T08:05:08-05:00SGT Ben Keen1277172<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think when people look for the "best" duty station for their MOS, they really need to look at the whole package. One needs to define what will make it "the best" for them. This will then give you an idea on what bases would and would not work for you. For example SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" says Ft Lee, VA because its the home of the QM Corps. Well what if Ft Lee has a high deployment rate and you are just coming back from a high optempo location and you're hoping for a change to be home for a minute or visa versa. What if your ideal assignment is a place that is close to your home of record or where you hope to settle down after your time in the service? <br /><br />So it really comes down to what is "best" for you in the end. I think with some more ideas of exactly what you are looking for, the RallyPoint community can really come up with some great locations that work for you.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Feb 3 at 2016 8:27 AM2016-02-03T08:27:30-05:002016-02-03T08:27:30-05:00CSM David Heidke1277489<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>308th at Devens MA, because I'm short and need 92Fs!! ;-)Response by CSM David Heidke made Feb 3 at 2016 10:49 AM2016-02-03T10:49:35-05:002016-02-03T10:49:35-05:00MCPO Private RallyPoint Member1280195<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is impossible to answer. What one person may think is a wart on the anus of Satan, another person may think is Nirvana on Earth. I'd follow Sgt Keen's advice - look at everything. Look at what goes on off-post. Look at the communities. Look at the unit's history.<br /><br />THEN, once you have orders, get in the mindset that it's the best thing since Betty White, and you'll have a great tour of duty.Response by MCPO Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2016 2:07 PM2016-02-04T14:07:21-05:002016-02-04T14:07:21-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1280572<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>160th at Hunter Army AirfieldResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2016 4:17 PM2016-02-04T16:17:37-05:002016-02-04T16:17:37-05:00SGT Carlin Byrd1281279<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not Ft Stewart that's for sure. Now, there are places that some people would love to go to that I would hate. Hawaii is at the bottom of my list for duty assignments. I have been there on vacation, and I could not imagine living there. People complain about Fort Polk, but I have a friend there and he loves is because he enjoys the hunting and fishing opportunities. If you dislike cold weather you may not like Fort Drum, but I would go back in a heartbeat. The bottom line is you GENERALLY make your tour at any post good or bad.Response by CSM Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 4 at 2016 11:07 PM2016-02-04T23:07:24-05:002016-02-04T23:07:24-05:00SGT Heath Johns2083726<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My first duty station was Leeward Barracks, Schweinfurt Germany.
