What are your memories from that day? I was living in Virginia about 25 miles south of D.C. but working within miles of the Pentagon, in fact I was scheduled to be there that day and I lost 3 colleagues at the Pentagon that day.

Fixing a computer for a doctor.  Had my own computer repair business going called "Custom MicroSystems".  While I was over at his place my wife called and said to turn on the TV.  Our jaws dropped.  I was pretty sure the first plane was no accident and when the 2nd one hit, there was no doubt it was a terrorist attack.  Was surprised to see the towers collapse straight down.  My fear was a tower leaning over and falling on other buildings...

I was on the parade field outside of WBAMC, Ft Bliss TX. We were doing rehearsals for a Change of Command. The crazy thing is. The incoming Commander (LTC) had just come from the Pentagon. His office was destroyed with his replacement sitting at the desk. Tough times.

At work thinking what idiot could possibly fly a plane into the world trade center. Then upon seeing the second one hit live, I knew we weren't in Kansas any more.
